Cindy G. Alejandrez has been promoted to the rank of staff sergeant in the U.S. Air Force Reserve.
Alejandrez, the daughter of Guadalupe Alejandrez of Madera, has served in the military for six years and currently serves as a public affairs specialist with 349th Air Mobility Wing on Travis Air Force Base in California.
She is a 2004 graduate of Chowchilla Union High School and earned a bachelor of science degree in 2013 from UC Berkeley.
