I’m not sure Editor Doud was being fair in his editorial comparing RomneyCare to ObamaCare. RomneyCare covered one state, while ObamaCare covers the whole country, with Republican governors and politicians coddling the Tea Party, saying they would do everything in their power to disrupt it. Apparently it is working better in California.
Obviously, ObamaCare has its problems; you cannot expect such an undertaking to be resolved in three months. In the end, it will work better than the system we have at the moment.
President Obama challenged the Republicans to come up with any better ideas if they had any. I didn't hear anything from Sen. Ted Cruz or anybody else maybe they think the system we have at the moment is working just fine.
